In 1921 a boy from Candle, Alaska took a job in Hollywood. His name was Ray Wise, but as Ray Mala he became a movie star and a highly sought-after cinematographer, especially when it came to the Arctic. Many new details of the Ray Mala story have recently come to light, and will be heard the next Talk of Alaska.
