Governor Palin Declares Disaster Areas for Interior Alaska

Governor Palin has issued a disaster declaration for interior communities hit by flooding. State Department of Emergency Services spokesman Jeremy Zidek says the declaration facilitates coordination between agencies, eases access to disaster assistance funding.
