    NO NO NO,

The native corporations get too much and give too little. If they want to receive ANY funds from anyone, they should do it without petitioning for handouts. I for 1 am SICK and TIRED of seeing native Alaskans getting free this & that, of course getting LEGALIZED racism, in the form of "native preferencing."

It's HIGH TIME to make the native corporations accountable for themselves & the people they represent.

What a waste of taxpayer dollars. The native corps are no more than a special interest group funded by the tax payers. What do they do with these huge profits? Hire more attorneys to promote there on agenda.

The US Government has a constitutional obligation toward the native community. The 8(a) program is one of the most effective ways ever devised to fulfill that obligation. Not only do the tax payers get an excellent value, but the native community learns valuable skills. By the way, profits on government contracting are not huge. But what is earned goes towards dividends, scholarships, preservation of lands, cultural programs, and investment that brings jobs to both the native and non-native community. This is a situation where everyone wins.

Show me a constitutional cite or an ammendment to the constitution wherein the US Gov't has any obligation to any entity to provide that entity with money, jobs or contracts. When you give people something they should work for themselves there is no precieved value in the gift and usually there is only resentment and abuse. Further, it's the taxpayers who fund all these programs not the Gov't. Once again, show me where taxing the people (read taxpayers not entitlement recievers) is benefits the taxpayers. If you want to help someone give them a hand up not a handout.
