I have lived in Nome for a few years and from experience, the wind causes horizontal rain, snow, whatever. I think this is a good thing for the people who live there and the State. The electric caused by the wind will give the residents just about free energy and sell the excess to others in the State. This way the residents will have enough power to stay warm this coming Winter and won't run into the same issues that happened this past Winter. Best of all, it's clean, renewable energy. Every village along the Bering Sea and Norton Sound has this opportunity. A win-win situation!

What's going on with this outfit? I read the turbine manufacturer has declared bankruptcy.

    He' Terry,
Where did you hear about the turbine mfg. declaring bankruptcy. My thoughts on this is to wonder why, in the great demand for renewable energy, unless there is bad management, would a company run itself bankrupt? Please let me know where to begin so I can get the answers you want.
