Murkowski “Deeply Disappointed” in Palin

One of the strongest responses to Governor Palin’s decision to resign came from Senator Lisa Murkowski. Her office put out a statement, saying the Senator was “deeply disappointed” in the Governor for deciding to “abandon the state and her constituents.” Murkowski says after a few days of reflection, her reaction has not changed.

    Lisa was indeed appointed to her first term by her father. She then won her second term against Tony in an election.
    I don't think that Lisa needs to be afraid that Sarah has an eye on her office. Nobody in their right minds will vote (again) for someone who has let down her constituants so brazenly. Of course, I can't understand how she was ever elected in the first place.
