State Senate holds Todd Palin and 8 others in contempt

The state Senate today found nine state employees and Governor Palin’s husband Todd  in Contempt for not conforming to legislative subpoenas last fall as part of the investigation of the firing of Public Safety Commissioner Walt Monegan.  None of the ten were punished.

    And?? This is all you have to say on the subject?? What else?? Why bother posting this, if you have nothing else to make this a worthy article.
  • Chrystal, this is essentially the end of a long story about how members of the Palin administration have avoided complying with state law and now have essentially gotten away with it because everyone just wants to move on. That's a fairly significant story in Alaska news.

    The Alaska Senate holds Todd Palin in contempt? I hold that supposed legislative body in contempt for their actions last summer. Absurd!
