Legislative caucus describes health and social services crisis

Three hours before the governor announced her health initiatives, Representative Sharon Cissna of Anchorage held her own press conference on healthcare in Alaska. The Anchorage Democrat, along with Senator Donny Olson of Nome, co-chairs the legislative health caucus. The group seeks to counter what it sees as a “crisis level health care and social service needs” across the state.
