What a relief that APRN picked up this story and reported it. You won’t get real news on the national outlets, only infotainment.
It shows the RNC will stop at nothing to muzzle what they don’t produce or sanction. Thankfully, the organizers of this non-partisan rally have this outlet from which to be heard.

This woman isn’t fooled for a second by party propaganda, and wish the rest of the low-information electorate would wake up and take responsibility for voting on the real issues.
We’ve had enough of ideological extremism to last a lifetime. Our country can’t afford one minute more of it.

Great job on the rally! Just wanted to let you know that even down here in Florida, we saw your message go out, and it was well received.

McCain will be here today, but he won’t be bringing Sarah along with him. Here in Tampa, the Republicans always try to set up “Free Speach Zones” miles away from the cameras and press, so that protesters won’t be seen or heard. Luckily, we have a woman Mayor who staunchly supports free speach everywhere.

Shame on Alaska for harassing women who KNOW Palin is no Hillary! As I woman, I cannot and WILL NOT be fooled. Palin’s right wing extremeist beliefs are NOT “values” shared by the average American mother/woman. As a nearly retired mother in the corporate sector,
who placed corporate success above my children, I am reminded daily of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis “if you mess up your children, nothing else you do really matters.”
Iam sincerely grateful to the 1500 women who stood up for the vast female electorate today

Speak out my sisters. In the United States, it is still a democracy. And Alaska is still a member of the Union.

God gave us each a free will. People have died to ensure our right to exercise it.

Stay strong, my sisters. Words cannot hurt you. Let the crowd jeer you. Be humble and realize that everyone will not be in agreement. Their words cannot affect a humble ego. And those who threaten harm can be prosecuted by law.

let me get this straight, Linda. You’re protesting that they’re protesting?! Sounds like you might be the one who needs to get a life.
And it’s a gross understatement, to the point of dishonesty, to claim Sarah doesn’t represent “one hundred percent of a persons views and beliefs.”
Her extremist positions on abortion, for example are WAY out of line with most Americans.

Wow. Eddie Burke was not very wise as a reporter to broadcast personal phone number. I would think that a reporter would have better sense than that. As for the crazies that actually called and said mean things to another citizen for voicing their opinion, well, that doesn’t really reflect very well on the way they were brought up.

disagree with some of her religious views like creationism.
( I am overweight…. can she get her minister to repeal the
law of gravity or at least decrease its effect on this planet,so
I would weigh less without dieting? that would make me a

I found out about this rally through APNR. Thank you APNR for airing news on minority opinion events.

In my very busy and hectic life, it felt as though I was the only one who doesn’t have a puppy crush on Palin and her cohorts. About 99% of the people I work with or deal with in my ‘real’ everyday life assume that I must like Palin just because she’s a woman and from Wasilla. The rally was invigorating. I felt so energetic. It was good to be amongst a ’sisterhood’.

It’s not so much of a protest as it is a demonstration. We just want to tell the rest of the world (and Alaska, for that matter), that all Alaskan women don’t agree with her. It’s an act of solidarity. And thanks, Linda, but I have a life, and it includes being an active participant in today’s issues. So please don’t ridicule others for their beliefs. Just let us do our thing in peace.

They can protest all they want. But what difference does it make that Sarah Palin does not represent the views and beliefs of all women. That’s why we are given the right to vote. If you do not agree with her views and beliefs don’t vote for her. In the hundreds of years that the US has been in existence has there ever been anybody who ran for office that represented one hundred percent of a persons views and beliefs. My goodness, all I can say is get a life. This is not about male or female, it’s about what you know is best for this country.

I am just trying to get voting record facts on Palin. How many voted for her, were the native’s, did oil company give her money, how did she finance her campaign and monies spent. What she has done to improve Alaska? Why did’t her son go to College? Thank you.
