Parnell / Young primary race a nail-biter

Will the race for the Republican slot in the U.S. House general election be decided tonight? Tomorrow? Next week?

With 45% of all districts in the state reporting Tuesday evening, the difference between Parnell and Young was a mere 4 votes for a time.

UPDATE 1: Parnell is up 439 votes as of 10:30 p.m.

UPDATE 2: 61% reporting at 11:15 p.m. — Parnell now up just 361 votes

UPDATE 3: 70% reporting at 11:40 p.m. — Parnell lead dwindles to 232 votes

UPDATE 4: 84% reporting at 1:10 a.m. — Parnell lead holding for now, with 263 votes over Young

UPDATE 5: 85% reporting — Parnell’s lead over Young is down to 213 votes

UPDATE 6: 89% reporting at 2:18 a.m. — Parnell lead dwindles to 142 votes over Young

UPDATE 7: 98% reporting at 4:22 a.m. — Young takes the lead with 145 votes over Parnell
