Dead whales turn up in Cook Inlet

At least three dead whales turned up in the Lower Cook Inlet area over the weekend.  Scientists with the North Gulf Oceanic Society, or NGOS, were unavailable for official comment, but they did confirm that the whales had been killed by transient killer whales within the last few days.
