Talk of Alaska: Moving to renewable energy

Some environmental activists have declared Tuesday to be “Fossil Fool Day,” saying it’s time to work for a “Just, Green Energy Future.” What would that look like in Alaska? Windmills and Tidal turbines and geothermal projects would be major public works projects, but individuals and families are doing smaller things as well – like energy efficient building, solar panels, bicycles and biofuels. Moving to renewable energy is the topic on today’s “Talk of Alaska,” from APRN.
