Alaska House: Humans at top of game management priorities

The Alaska House passed a bill today that would change the approach to big game management by establishing human use as the top priority of moose, caribou and deer populations.

    I don’t understand why people are so greedy for the big game, deer, moose, and caribou. I do not think we should go to such extremes such as aerial predator control. That is slaughter. It is not a scientific method. Wolves only stream the sick prey. They do not slaughter the moose, caribou, and deer. They do not kill like murderers. We would be murdering those wolves. Let’s let the natural process occur, we cannot control everything. This bill is horrible.
