Alaska Senate may curtail national ID system

The Senate is considering a bill that would draw the line on the Federal government’s attempts to have a national identification system. The “Real ID” system, administered by the Department of Homeland Security, would require states to meet a federal standard in issuing driver’s licenses or state identification cards. ID cards meeting the standard would be required for entering federal office buildings, flying on airplanes or crossing borders if the national plan takes effect.

Nice try Alaska Senate.. But it is pointless. The Fed’s will just withhold federal program funding dollars no matter what the senate says.

And we know what that means.. The Fed’s win.

we do not need a federal i.d system we have a one called the social security card. just another way for the government to micro manage everyone and call it another step towards security bull##$$%. so i hope our senate does what it’s there for and stick up for our rights that we have left.

The Senate must not curtail this bill, they must stop it. it seams to me that this country is fast becoming the kind of goverment we are fighting over sea’s. Soon we will have no freedom in the name of security.

Way to go Alaska Senate! Thanks for trying to keep the Alaskans free! I, for one, completly oppose this infringement of rights. What gives the President the right to sign in laws left and right like he’s filling out a crossword puzzle?

This card will make it available for the feds to track us all in our own country, from state to state, each state being its own country united to form these united states. This will create more black markets for smuggling people in our country, look at the mexican border only criminals will be able to travel freely when and where they want to. And one last thing this card has a RFID chip in it, can track you anytime, look it up.
