New study sheds light on sexual assaults in Alaska

This morning the Alaska State Troopers and the University of Alaska Anchorage’s Justice Center unveiled a new sexual assault study.  The in-depth analysis examined nearly one thousand cases of sexual assaults and sexual abuse of minors reported to the troopers.  The study sheds new light on the abusers and the investigators.

    colonel holloway does a great job of providing information and dispelling myths. it’s important to have this research and for the AST to report it to the public in ways that we can all appreciate and understand. thanks to the reserachers, reporters, and colonel holloway. hopefully we can use this information to ensure the resources needed to create change and safety in our communities.
