I heard this story today on NPR’s Morning Edition, and I had an idea. I know that it would not be a perfect solution, but could we recycle wood or packing foam to make fake ice floes on which the walruses could float? It would seem a perfect solution to use some of our waste to help solve some of the problems caused by our poor management.
