A 7.2 magnitude earthquake hit the Western Aleutian Islands at about 11:30pm last night.

Well, we Alaskans take our earthquakes in stride!
Plus the earthquake hit a (relatively) sparsely populated area in the state. All that plus the lack of serious damage make the story important, but there’s not a lot of details to share.
