GOOD!, but this wont slow their bycatch. I was once a factory laborer on a couple boats outta Dutch Harbor and i know how much bycatch they throw away, I witnessed it with my own eyes. I pray to the lord everyday he doesnt punish me for being out there and being an accomplice. Maybe this will boost the herring fishes numbers a little. Common sense is all that you need to think about this,if you are smart.
The pollock fleet should have to pay the people of Western Alaska for each king salmon they catch as a cost of doing business. $1,000 a fish sounds about right.
