Correira murder trial entering third day of jury deliberations

The jury is heading into its third day of deliberations this morning in the murder trial of Michael Lawson, an Anchorage man accused of killing 21-year old Bethany Correira in 2003. At least one member of the jury appeared to be caught up in a technicality over the word “intent,” which the judge defined on Thursday, against the wishes of Lawson’s defense attorney.
